• Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow-Germany - (From August 2006 to March 2008) - Prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship received from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany and worked with Prof. Dr. Rene Wilhelm, Department of Organic Chemistry, Clausthal University of Technology, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany.
• Postdoctoral Fellow-Taiwan - (From January 2006 to May 2006) - Fellowship received from the Genomic Research Center, Academia Sinica, Taiwan and worked with Dr. S. T Chen, Department of Biological Chemistry, Taipei, TAIWAN.

Asymmetric Catalysis:
 Design and development of chiral Brønsted acid and N-heterocyclic carbene catalysts.
 Applications of asymmetric organotransformations in Asymmetric Kabachnik-Fields reaction, Strecker reaction, Petasis-borano Mannich reation and aza-Dields reactions.
Heterogeneous Catalysis:
 Design and synthesis of novel metal-N-heterocyclic carbenes: Applications to C-C, C-N bond formations via Suziki, Sonogashira, Heck and Buchwald coupling reactions.
 Development of Efficient Multicomponent Reaction Methodologies Using Titania Nanostructures as Solid-acid Catalysts and Catalyst Supports.
Bio-Organic Chemistry:
 Design and synthesis of bio-Active organophosphorus heterocycles bearing five to eight-membered ring systems.
Research Grants :
1. Raman (Indo-US) postdoctoral research grant Rs 26, 15, 000 received from the University Grants Commission, New Delhi for the year 2016-17. Title of the project: Total synthesis of biscarbazole bearing natural products and their bioactivity.
2. Awarded the project entitled “New chiral N-heterocyclic carbenes: Synthesis and applications in asymmetric synthesis” from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi in November 2015. The project period is 2016-2019. Budget grant - Rs. 22, 00, 000/-.
3. Awarded the project entitled “Synthesis of Bioactive Nitrogen, Oxygen and Phosphorus Heterocycles” from Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) in January 2013. The project period is 2013-2016. Budget grant - Rs. 24, 01, 000/-(Completed).
4. Awarded the project entitled “New Chiral Organophosphorus Catalysts in Asymmetric Synthesis” From Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, Under Fast Track Scheme for Young Scientist for the period 2010-2013. Budget grant-Rs 16,71,000/- Completed the project and received “Good” grade from the DST, New Delhi.(Completed).

Dr. S. Santhi Sudha (DST-Postdoctoral Fellow) - She has been awarded the National Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Science and Engineering Research Board-Department of Science and Technology (SERB-DST), New Delhi, India. She is working under my mentorship on Organophosphorus heterocyclic compounds.

3. P. Sreekanth Reddy (Full time Ph.D) -Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa- He qualified YVU-RESET and worked as a research fellow under my supervision in the DST project for his Ph.D thesis. Topic: “Asymmetric Organocatalysis: Synthesis of Camphor Derived Thiourea Catalysts, their Application and Construction of Optically Pure Spiro[cyclohexanone-oxindole] Derivatives”. Ph.D.Thesis Awarded on 20th July 2016.
4. B. Rajendra Prasad Reddy (Full time Ph.D) - Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa - He qualified UGC-JRF, CSIR-NET and GATE and working as a UGC-JRF under my supervision for his Ph.D thesis topic: “Development of Efficient Multicomponent Reaction Methodologies Using Titania Nanostructures as Solid-acid Catalysts and Catalyst Supports”. Ph.D. Thesis Awarded on 8th March, 2016.
