Abstract
Today, Nanocomposites are synthesized due to their wide applicability in various areas such as cosmetics, food industry,
medicine, shampoos, soaps, and detergent. Noble metals such as gold, silver, and platinum nanoparticles (NPs) are traditionally
synthesized by wet chemical techniques where the chemicals used are generally toxic and flammable. Now, nanotechnology uses
plant extract directly to synthesize Nano composites which are cost-effective and environment friendly. Silver NPs (AgNPs) are
easily synthesized by using simply mixing AgNO3 solution with the extract of the plant (leaves, stem, roots, and fruits) which
act as reducing as well as capping agent. AgNPs which have been synthesized from different parts of plant extracts showed very
good antimicrobial, anti-cancerous and antidiabetic activities.
