Abstract
Lignans are naturally occurring compound which exhibits anticancer, anti AIDS, and other biological activities.
In the present work, new tetralin intermediates of 6-hydroxy-4-phenyl-1, (4-dihydronaphthalen-1-yl) amino
derivatives were synthesized in very good yields by chalcone route. All the products were characterized by spectral
and elemental analysis data. The synthesized compounds were analyzed for antiviral activity.
