Abstract
Multiple sclerosis (MS) often consequences in chronic inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, and recent
developments have lead to newer therapeutic options for the treatment of the disease. In this review, we have
summarized the literature known synthetic strategies of fingolimod which is the key small molecule, and the first
oral drug candidate for MS which have been launched in the market.
