Abstract

Separation is very important process in which the properties of solutes play an important role. Membrane
separation is very important technique that is used extensively in the lab and industrial level. The classification
of membranes into solid and liquid have been mentioned. In this article, the various aspects of the bulk liquid
membrane including transport mechanism and applications have been discussed in detail.
