Abstract
An efficient methodology was developed for the synthesis Hantzsch 1,4-dihydro pyridine derivatives. All the
reactions were carried out via three component coupling of aldehyde, ethyl acetoacetate and ammonium acetate
in the presence of chlorosulphonic acid. All the reactions were completed with 30 minutes of reaction time, with
very good yields of the corresponding products.
